The story could not be simpler: Brothers Doug and Steve Butabi (Kattan and Ferrell) try to get into the exclusive Roxbury nightclub and possibly get laid. Even I will admit that this TV skit stretched out to a filament-thin 83 minutes is idiotic, but I mean that in a good way. I can't look at Chris Kattan's half-simian, half-human countenance and rubbery little body or Will Ferrell's mug of dim incomprehension without laughing. If you do know who I'm talking about, then you already either love them or you hate them. No? Well then, 'A Night at the Roxbury' is not the movie for you. I'm talking about Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell the ones who wear those cheap, shiny suits and gold chains and shake their heads from side to side in time to that annoying disco song. You know those two guys from 'Saturday Night Live' who play the sleazy lounge lizards? No, not the 'wild and crazy guys' that Steve Martin and Dan Aykroyd created years ago.
